The ROMEO GIGLI collection is entirely Handmade in Italy. As a result of the product meeting exceptional high quality standards, all frames pass through a skillful craftsmanship process which incorporates in total 48 stages.

This manufacturing process is characterized by the classic four-stage tumbling with beech wood, vegetable oil and pumice stones, plus two manual steps on the polishing wheel. We do not use solvents or chemicals in our process. All of the frame fronts are milled by hand from 8mm thick plates so to achieve formed nose pads from the original acetate slab, and not from a glued adhesion.
